The faculty of the college believe that the professional nurse provides a unique service in improving health, in the prevention of illness and in the care and rehabilitation of the individual family and community. Our professionals contribute to nursing care and work towards the continued improvement and upliftment of professionals. Our student nurse fulfills her responsibilities as a member and a citizen of the country for its growth and development.

lab

Pharmaceutics encompasses an understanding of the basic physical chemistry necessary for the efficient design of dosage forms. The students are trained to manufacture these medicines in both small and large scale. Means in the biotechnology laboratory they study in depth about the cultivation, avoidance and elimination of microorganisms in medicines.

The pharmacological activities of newly synthesized drugs are tested here. A highly sophisticated animal house supplies the animals* for this laboratory. Separate arrangements are made to breed these animals. (* The animals include rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, frogs, etc, which are legally allowed for doing experiments by the Government of India).

Hostel

A common mess for boys and girls of all Medical Institution in the campus is provided in the hostel premises. Hygienic Vegetarian and Non – vegetarian food under the supervision of qualified dietician are prepared. All the mess expenses are divided equally amongst the resident students.

Employment opportunities :

The Pharmacy Diploma holders are employed as Pharmacists in Goverment Hospital, Private Nursing homes, Dispensaries, health Centres, medical Shops, factories and Estate hospital. They are also appointed as Medical representavies by Pharmaceutical Concern.
